About us

Charlene Rossouw has been running Vega Equestrian Club for 10 years now and is qualified through SANIP (South African National Instructors Plan)

All feeding of horses, training of staff and lessons are run by Charlene, but own instructors are welcome, Charlene and her husband as well as the staff of the yard all stay on the premises.

Vega Equestrian Club's 45 acres of property hosts two 60X60m sand mix arena (completely under the shade of blue gum trees) and one grass dressage arena.

We have regular training shows as well as socials (ridden and not ridden), and regular outrides.

This year, as well as the last two years consecutively, Charlene and all her competing riders recieved thier riding colours(Charlene is present and assisting at all the shows her riders compete in):

Charlene Rossouw and Captain Navaar recieved colours both in Equitation and Show Jumping and recieved two firsts for Equitation at Nationals, as well as winning the team event and coming second in both individual showjumping classes.

Donne vd Westhuizen on Kenny recieved colours for both her showjumping classes as well as her Equitation Class and rode in the SANESA (Schools National competitions for Equitation).

Melanthia Goldie and Lady Hawke AKA Girlie recieved SANESA School colours for Eqitation

Erin Ware and Malibu recived SANESA school colours for Showjumping.

Sabrina Shirley Cherrylips recieved recived SANESA School colours for Showjumping and Working Hunter

Cayla Turner and Bel Bach qualified for SANESA school colours for showjumping and on cash, Cayla recieved Gauteng regional colours for showjumping.

Jamie Potgieter and Mr Attitude recived SANESA colours for Prix Caprilli and working Riding

Rebecca Marshal and Last Shadow recieved SANESA colours for dressage
